The four-time Olympic gold medalist Mo Farah has become the first man to win the Great North Run three times in a row and, with over 41,000 runners following in his footsteps, the Great North Run is undoubtedly the pinnacle of the British running calendar, with 178 nations represented at this years’ event.

With a crew of nearly 20, in 2016 we provided our World class timing and results service for the sixth consecutive year.  Services provided include live data feeds to the host broadcaster (who in turn was providing broadcast graphics for both the BBC and the World feed); dedicated commentator information systems for BBC TV, BBC Radio 5 live and local commentators, as well as remotely based EuroSport commentators; Live web results feeds and a Smartphone application providing live updates and tracking around the course.
